Tooth Lost, Left winger gained
So two things to report. First of all, Ainsley lost her first tooth last night.
She was so excited and woke up the next morning $1 richer!

Next, Austin started pre-season training this morning. I think he's going to make an excellent
left winger.
Working on trapping.
Keeping the head down!
Here's a little motion for ya. Not bad for a 2 year old!

Scary Prayer
A few weeks ago I was preparing for the Sunday service and asking God to prepare my heart to lead and without thinking about it, I prayed "Lord, take away from me anything that might take away from You." As soon as it left my thought (I was praying silently), I realized what I had just said and what the consequences might be.
Do I really want God to strip my life of all the things that get in the way of people seeing Him? Unfortunately my flesh screams "NO!" I like my comforts, my things, my habits. Am I really willing to let God do all of this? So I've begun to force myself to pray this little prayer anyway. As much as it may hurt, cost, or incovenience me I also realize it is absolutely necessary to the "success" of what I do. If people are going to see God and meet with Him, I cannot be in the way. If I'm His mirror, I want there to be nothing in-between.
John the Baptist told his followers that "He must increase, I must decrease" and I guess I'm praying the same. I'm flinching while praying it, not knowing exactly what the answer to that prayer will entail, but like forcing yourself to take nasty tasting medicine, sometimes we have to let our mind and sprit overcome our flesh.
Bottom's Up!

Praying for a King and Queen
The other day while I was working I was listening to one of my favorite preachers online. Major W. Ian Thomas' teachings have changed much of my Christian life and opened my eyes to see the truth of Christ in you.
So I was listening to his sermon "Let God be in you." I highly recommend you take 45 minutes click http://downloads1.revivalgodsway.com/0/SID0280.mp3 and listen or go to http://www.praize.com/sermons/IanThomas/ .
Anyway, he is talking about how God saw Mary as a young girl who would be willing to allow Him to be God and he saw David as a little shepherd boy who allowed God to use him to overcome a lion a bear and a gaint and God said "I've got a king!"
I sat in my office and wept for my little girl and little boy praying that they learn to let God be God in them. Praying that I could show them that "we can't, He never said we could. But He can, and always said He would." That I could be the example to them and teach them that God is the "I AM" for every situation and that if we would just "bow ourselves out and bow Him in" to every situation, "Faithful is He who [called us] and HE will also do it." I want my children to be a King and Queen that will allow God to use thier Humanity to reveal His diety.
So much I wish I could say and convey, it's simply a heart cry that only the Spirit knows.
Listen to the message and you'll know what I'm talking about.
Peace Out.
